Where is your new version done over Christmas?
ReplyDeleteWell done in this submission of your audio presentation. I will now (as I have with the rest of the class) ask you some questions about your project which I will expect you to answer in as much detail as possible under this comment so it is visable. You will be assessed on how you respond in the best way you can. Please provide at least 1 paragraph.
ReplyDeleteIf you had the chance to interview a real life music star for this magazine, who would you choose and why?
I would choose Arctic Monkeys, if possible the whole band. The reason I would choose them is because they relate to the genre of my magazine. I'm also planning to have some areas in my magazine based on this band so an interview would majorly increase the popularity of that particular area. The Arctic Monkeys are a world wide famous band so if I was able to get an interview I would advertise that on my front cover which would then attract a lot more readers.
ReplyDeleteThe type of questions I would ask them would be things like, How did the band form?, How did you all meet? and what is life like for a music star?. The reason I would ask these questions is because I believe that those are the main things people want to know about their favourite bands or artists. Another reason is because I believe these questions would get the best responses from the band.
ReplyDeleteTo improve this audio presentation:
ReplyDelete- Don't add so much text to slides - a lot is too small to read
-Break up what you're saying into more slides - there is no limit of slides, so make the most of this
- Use more image to prompt what you say
- make sure that slides are in a logical order and flow onto the next topic smoothly
- Make sure that you remember the point of the presentation and that you're not just slapping on work you've done (like analysing photos) - you should be pitching what you're aiming to do, so at least explain why these photographs inspire your own photography
- Try to make it more interesting, liven it up, don't let it get boring! Remember you're trying to also 'engage' your audience!
